Grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Samaritan Strategy, prepare and equip churches in the sub region with a biblical worldview to carry out wholistic ministry in their communities by assisting with training programs to declare the good news of the Kingdom in word and in deed.

The Need
We believe that local churches are God’s primary agent for the transformation of communities and nations. While the church in Africa has experienced unprecedented growth, sub-Sahara Africa as a whole remains trapped in a cycle of poverty and brokenness. The early missionaries brought a gospel of spiritual salvation, but not an all-encompassing Biblical worldview. Millions of Africans have been converted, yet traditional African beliefs rooted in an animistic, fatalistic worldview remain largely intact. For healing and restoration to occur, the church must recognize and replace these beliefs with a comprehensive Biblical worldview. Furthermore, she must practice a wholistic ministry that mobilizes and equips all members to demonstrate God’s love incarnationally in their respective worlds of family, work/vocation, and community life.

Application process of materials which is key to transformation are well structured in our training to help participants to be fully empowered, trained and thoroughly equipped to be effective to also train, coach and mentor others in their own churches and communities.

More than this, the African church is gaining a new understanding of its strategic role as God’s Kingdom change-agent. It now has eyes to see its own God-given resources, as well as the necessary training to reach the broken and needy as a demonstration of God’s compassion.

Our training sessions will take participants through key materials such as:

Participants
The key leaders trained include pastors, church leaders, business people, professionals, politicians and community leaders. Majority of these have positioned themselves to be God’s agent of transformation in their various ministries, vocations, professions, communities and nations.

Measurement of success.
Hundreds of Seed Love Actions have been implemented in many communities and some have grown into significant programs, ranging from schools for slum children, to microenterprise initiatives, to HIV-AIDS related ministries. Through the “witness of love,” many churches have grown more healthy, new churches have been planted and scores of non-believers have come to faith in Christ.

As part of our collaboration with the Church, we shall be very grateful if you will kindly send some of your key leaders and staff members, including pastors, elders, and ministry leaders to participate in this Vision Conference since it will add practical inputs to their ministries at the leadership and grassroots levels and equip them for wholistic church growth, individual, family and community development and transformation.
