A NORMAL DAY
We wake up in the morning
Brush our teeth slowly cos we can’t stop yawning
Scrub our backs cos it’s modern
And then dress like we are going for a crowning.

But we daily fail to give thanks,
To the One who is above all ranks,
And has riches than all the banks
Yet we cry and wail of hardship
When we can kneel and get the inner peace of a township.

Well this has become normal
Cos the days are said to be stressful
But we forget that God can make it gay
Yet we choose pain in full
Wake up guys from the slumber of the mediocre
And embrace your victory in Christ Jesus….
