DISCOVERY OF FIVE GREAT TRUTHS “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” John 8:32

OBJECTIVE The objective of this study is to help us have a personal understanding of the Creator, why He created Man, your personal role, Man’s eternal destination, why Jesus came and the return of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT IS DISCOVERY?
Discovery is to make known to the public, information that was previously known only to a few people or that was meant to be kept a secret “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generation, but now is made manifest to his saints” Colossians 1:26.
There are two ways to discover something, which is by speculation and or by revelation.

SPECULATION: Speculation is a message expressing an opinion based on incomplete evidence.

REVELATION: Revelation is a message believes to have come from God.
There are some people who discovered their source from what the world thinks (speculation) and their end was bad.
But if you really want to discover anything, it must be by revelation thus “The Bible” God’s documented Word.

FIRST DISCOVERY: DISCOVERY OF THE CREATOR (Genesis 1:1, Colossians 1:16)
How do you get to know The Creator? After all, the Bible tells us He is a Spirit(John 4:24).
One way you can get to know God is through your creation and the experiences we have with Him.
These demonstrate to us that without God life makes no sense, because the Bible teaches us that, there is a God who virtually is involved in the affairs of this world. It is only fools who say there is no God (Psalm 14:1).

The nature around us, things we see everyday proves that there is Creator somewhere (Psalm 19, Romans 1:21).
God the Creator’s approved way to come to Him is through our relationship with His son Jesus Christ (Luke 9:35, John 14:6, John 15:5, John 1: 12).
(If you do not have any relationship with God through the Son Jesus Christ and YOU want to do it now please, believe in your heart and say this from with your mouth, Lord Jesus i believe you came from heaven as the Son of God to live on this earth, dead, rose again, lives in heaven and will come again for me. I belong to God’s Kingdom now.)
If you do not discover the Creator through Jesus Christ, you will end up worshipping anything thinking you are doing the right thing (Acts 17:23).

DISCUSSION. 1. Without the Bible mention some of the things in Creation that really tells you that there is God. 2. Do you have personal encounter that made you realize that there is God?
3. Mention anyone who discovered the Creator by speculation and how they ended up.
