Ambassador Eric Oteng Boadi Presents Born For A Purpose Series

Some people are able to discover the true God the Creator, but because they are not able to discover themselves they do not make any impact on earth.
They question David ask is who is man that you are mindful of him? Bible helps us to discover who man is.
1. Man is (an Ambassador) the representative of God on earth (Genesis 1:26-28, 1 Corinthians 5:20).
2. Man is a spirit, that has a soul and who lives in a body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
3. Man is the image of God on earth (Genesis 1:26).

I guess you will agree with me that everything that has been made has a purpose. Then God said, Let us make a man-someone like ourselves, to be the master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas.” So God made man like his Maker. Like God did God make man; Man and maid did he make them. And God blessed them and told them, “Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals. Genesis 1:26-28 (LB)

As there is a purpose for your watch, mobile phone, computer. It means YOU as an image of God are not an accident of circumstances. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did!
Look at how God put it in Jeremiah 1:5
“I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb; before you were born I sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.”
Your life here on earth is purposeful because God intentionally brought you here. He looked at the world with its many challenges and then reached within Himself and brought you out. You did not just appear on the planet. You were thought of and planned for.

Observe this scripture Ephesians 2:10 “for we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, in which God prepared in advance for us to do” The Lord determined how you were to enter the earth. He selected your parents, location of birth and personality and orchestrated time and history to work together for you to be born (read Acts 17:24-28).

He formed you in your mother’s womb” Psalm 139:13-18, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” and even numbered the hairs on your head. He took inventory of you and prepared opportunities ahead of you. He has placed the people you will need to accomplish your purpose on earth.

Your job is to seek to know the Lord your creator through Jesus and download His thoughts into your thought through the Holy Spirit.
Look at how the Psalmist puts it in Psalm 139:17-18, “How precious it is Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!
I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me!” As matter of fact God loves you as if you are the only person on the earth, no matter what you have done wrong HE NEVER HATES YOU! He still calls you, His child.

Discovering who you are will help you value your life, makes you respect others, help you fulfill your purpose and give you confidence.
