Match day two of the Normalisation Committee’s Women Special Competition has seen loads of goals and upsets as Immigration Ladies lost their second game in a row against Police Ladies.
Joyce Atewaa Fenteng of Ash Town Ladies, Juliet Acheampong of Prison Ladies and Elizabeth Owusuaa from Sea Lions FC all had brace on match day two of the NC’s special competition with Sea Lions FC scoring the highest number of goals by thrashing Hasaacas Ladies by four goals to one.
At the Tema TDC park in Group D, Halifax Ladies had a slim win over Samaria Ladies by a lone goal while the Immigration ladies lost to their rivals Police Ladies with a solitary goal from Black Queens Striker Jane Ayieyam.
Abdullai Mukarama’s goal was enough to save a point for the Northern Ladies as they were held by a two all draw by Prison Ladies at the Aliu Mahama Stadium In Tamale with Two-time winners of the National Women’s League Ampem Darkoa Ladies also drawing at home to Pearlpia
Fabulous Ladies with only ten players after 90 minutes of action at the Wesley College Park drew their game against Sports Academy in a one all draw while Ashtown ladies kept a clean sheet against Supreme Ladies At the Police Depot Park in Kumasi on three goals difference.
In Group C Hasaacas Ladies also lost their first home game At the Bompeh park with a humiliating four goals to one defeat to Sea Lions FC while Lady Strikers held Intellectuals to a one all draw.
At the Bompeh park, Hasaacas will be hoping to win their first home game against Sea Lions while Lady Strikers lost at home Soccer Intellectuals by two goals to one in Group C.
19 goals were scored in match day with match day one producing 20 goals in total. The NC’s women special competition have seen 39 goals with the two match days combined.
