Wednesday featured more action as Red bull Salzburg thrashed Genk four goals to one as a usually ruthless Liverpool had to settle for a draw at home against Napoli. The front three of Fc Barcelona normally referred to as the MSG all registered a goal each as Barcelona comfortably won at home against German Side Borussia Dortmund with Inter Milan also winning away to Czech Outfit Slavia Prague

Zenit St Petersburg recorded a two nil victory at home against Lyon as German side Leipzig fought back to earn a draw against Portuguese Outfit Benfica courtesy of two late goals from Emil Forsberg.
