Chelsea FC prolific striker, Tammy Abraham who has been leading the line for the blues this 2019/20 season and has 13 Premier league goals to his credit has endorsed Nigerian jollof over Ghana jollof.
The debate of the jollof supremacy between the two countries, Ghana and Nigeria has been an unending one for some time now over who make the best jollof between the two West African countries.
This revelation by Tammy Abraham comes as a little surprise because Abraham has earlier qualified to play for the super Eagles of Nigeria through his father before he opted to play for his motherland, the Three Lions of England.
Abraham made this admission when he was asked by Football Focus on how he is coping with the lockdown in the UK. Asked which version of jollof he is likely to eat between Nigeria and Ghana, he said ‘The Nigeria version is my choice to be honest. The Ghanaian one is a little bit more spicy but it is about the flavours, not just about the spice, how it sits in your mouth, how it digests into ~your stomach.’
So there you have it Ghanaians, our jollof is a bit spicy according to Tammy Abraham so we ought to do something about that.
Ghanabliss.com believe Tammy Abraham hasn’t really tasted the best jollof in town hence his choice of the Nigeria jollof.
